Part of My World

Hey guys! So I really love connecting with you all and I’d really like to show you a little bit more of who I am. As you can probably tell, my blog is centered around California and all the things I believe are interesting and would benefit you. But I thought I’d focus a little more on my surroundings and things I see on a daily basis that are extremely important to me and were a part of my upbringing. I took my new Nikon camera I got for Christmas down to my local beach and tried to capture it’s beauty to the best of my ability. I realize that not all my followers are from a place like this and things that are normal to me might be something completely new and interesting to another person that lives in another country. I love seeing what different parts of the world look like and I thought you guys might enjoy seeing what my little slice of this earth is like. The ocean is such a big piece of me and I will always hold it very dear to my heart. Hopefully this helps gives a better sense of who I am and what I love and what my life is like. Although I am usually away at school, this is what I come home to and I specifically chose my university because it is not much different from what you see above.

I also really enjoyed just going down to the beach and walking around to take pictures. I love photography so hopefully with my new camera I can get more into it and it will make my pictures for this blog better than they were before. Thanks to my lovely sister for coming with me to take these beautiful shots. She even took a few of these herself, thanks Skye! I also apologize that the images are so small, for the life of me I cannot figure out how to position many pictures correctly when writing a WordPress post. (If you guys have any tips or found an easy way to do this, please please please comment or email me, it would be greatly appreciated!)
