A College Freshman’s Bucket List

After completing my first year of college, experiencing so many new places, and having so many adventures, I have created a list of things that every college freshman should do before the year is over. These are just a few things me and my friends did that you should definitely try, at least before your years in college are over.

1. Go hot tubbing! My friends and I would drive to a close hotel and take a relaxing break from our studies in the hot tubs. Usually if you stay quiet you won’t be noticed and the hotel won’t be mad that you’re using their facility. It’s a harmless little vacation away from school and a fun memory I will always have of my freshman year.

2. Spontaneous drives late at night. I remember one night my friends and I took a car to pick up our other friend. We ended up going to a coffee shop for some food and acai bowls. It was fun to just jump in the car in our pajamas and have a mini adventure. Simple times like driving around the city with my friends is something I won’t forget.

3. Farmers markets. On the weekends, my friends and I loved to take an uber to a close farmers market. It was awesome to taste all the foods that were offered and find some local companies. Walking around and experiencing the city through a farmers market is a great way to get in touch with your surroundings at school. Try to find a farmers market that’s close to you!

I loved doing fun little things like these during my first year and they definitely made it memorable. I hope these give you ideas for fun activities during school or even during the summer! Let me know what your best memories of your freshman year or even college in general are! I’d really love to get some new ideas:)
