I’ve been using this foundation for a while now and I wanted to share it with you guys! It’s the Laura Mercier Silk Creme Oil Free Photo Edition Foundation..long name I know. But for me, I need to use foundation that’s oil free considering my not very good skin. I like this better than the Clinique foundation I used to use because it’s not as heavy. It’s much more fluid than the extremely creamy Clinique foundation. Although this foundation is meant to be applied with a sponge, I use my Real Techniques foundation brush. This works just fine for me and gives a pretty even coverage. For this foundation, I recently bumped up to the color Cashew Beige since I’ve been out in the sun.

I top off this foundation with the Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Foundation Powder. This definitely makes my skin less shiny after applying the foundation. It’s got a very matte finish, which is definitely a plus for me. It comes with a nice mirror and even an application sponge under the powder. I’m not sure what color this is, but the number is 05. I’ve used this tinted finishing powder for a while and I’m curious to try out a translucent powder. If you have any preferences between these tinted powders or translucent ones, let me know in the comments! Which one do you like better or which works more effectively? Hope you’re having a beautiful day!

**By the way, I usually buy Laura Mercier products at the makeup section of Nordstrom.
