// Hello everyone! I am home for the weekend and my sister and I decided to take a little drive up the coast to good ol’ Laguna Beach! I wanted to try out Urth Caffé and Skye wanted to do some photography so we spent part of the day doing that. Look forward to a separate post about Urth later on, it was a great little place! Anyway, here’s what I wore on this gloomy winter day in Laguna. //
This blouse was perfect for the colder weather. It covers up you arms but is still a beautiful, flowy material. It has bell sleeves which have a gorgeous lacey detailing that really adds to the femininity of this look. At the front is a band of more detailed fabric. It is the same navy color as the entire shirt so it blends in perfectly and isn’t too much. The very end of this blouse is skirted so when you walk it is flouncy and light. This shirt is from Melrose in the O.C. (a small boutique: melroseintheoc.com). I paired this with some jeans (ripped at the knees) and some black heeled boots from H&M.
This crop top I wore underneath is from Brandy Melville. It’s a simple burgundy color and I love the layering look it gives to the blouse. This definitely helped keep me warm since it was a cloudy day and the sun wasn’t popping out. In the summer, this crop top won’t be needed but it’s so cute for the season! I also threw on this necklace I made. I bought black suede string from Michael’s craft store and cut one long strand. I tied two knots at the bottom and bam! you’re done. You can style this so many ways and is WAY cheaper than the expensive versions at high end stores. I tied mine around once, bring it to the front, and tie both ends in a knot.
Hope you guys enjoyed this OOTD! A big thank you to the sis for taking these photos! Comment with any questions!
