Hello lovelies! I haven’t posted any beauty products in a while, but that’s because I haven’t invested in any in quite some time. That changed this week though and I decided to get some well known products to try out for myself and see what the hype was all about. Too Faced and Anastasia Beverly Hills offer some beautiful products and in the end I was glad I invested for many reasons! I only got a couple things but I have been eyeing a couple other products as well, so hopefully there will be more to come soon!

This first products is from Too Faced. There’s so many things I love about it but let me start with the packaging. As a graphic design major, I am obsessed with gorgeous packaging and really appreciate it companies put effort into that. For me, it’s a factor that I consider when I want to buy something. Too Faced probably makes some of the most beautiful packaging I have ever seen. Especially with this “Candy Glow” blush. The pink and gold makes it so dainty and girly, (not to mention the bunnies on the front!) It makes it look so exquisite even though it isn’t made out of the nicest material.
It’s made out of some sort of cardboard material but with the design and colors, it doesn’t seem like it at all! I don’t even mind what it’s made out of since it’s the product I also care about. The blush is down right gorgeous and has the slightest glow to it. So really, no need for a heavy highlighter. You simply swirl the three colors together and you get the cutest pink color to your cheek bones. You can definitely build this up to get as much of that pink as you’d like. For me, I like it to be fairly light and look as if I had a little day out in the sun. You can buy Candy Glow wherever a Too Faced makeup counter is. Sephora and Macy’s carry it and probably many other places as well.
*Fun fact: this product is cruelty free, so major plus!! However, it is not hypoallergenic.
The second product is from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I rarely buy lipsticks, but I’m SO happy I picked this up! This is the liquid lipstick that becomes matte after application. I am more fond of matte lip colors than sticky glosses, so this was perfect! It is in the shade “Stripped” so it’s a nude, brownish color. I was looking for something I could wear everyday and I definitely can with this shade. When I used it for the first time, I fell in love with the formula! When you apply it, the gloss is light and very easy to apply. After a few minutes though, it becomes a matte shade and the color even lightens up the tiniest bit.
As with the Too Faced blush, I am also obsessed with this packaging. Anastasia does a great job with their designs and keeps it very elegant. I love the rose gold on the packaging and the beautiful lettering. Their logo also fits perfectly with its simplistic style. As for the wear of this lipstick, it lasted for SO LONG. I’ve never had a matte lipstick that was this long lasting so I was pretty shocked! If you’re wearing this all day, you may need to only reapply once or not at all. It’s definitely something I recommend investing in if you love makeup and they even come in a variety of different colors and shades! You can pick this up wherever Anastasia is sold. Sephora and Macy’s are places that carry it.
I hope you guys love these products as much as I do! If you use these products yourself, let me know how you like them or if you have other favorites from these brands because I’d love to explore them more! Hope you all have a lovely day <3
