Summer Date Night OOTD!

Hey everyone! Finally time for another OOTD! It’s about time, am I right? I’m absolutely in love with this outfit right now and it made for the perfect date night look! We ended up going out for dinner and a movie, and since nights in the summer are a bit warm, I wanted something cute yet casual. This is what I came up with, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

This adorable black peplum blouse I recently got from Nordstrom. Being there so often for work, I peek into Brass Plum a little more often than I should. This top has flared edges and long, flowing sleeves. The neckline is cut slightly low. The whole thing falls so nicely and is so beautifully flouncy. It has that perfect blend of edgy and feminine that I live for.

I paired the top with these bohemian shorts from PacSun. I’ve been obsessed with these shorts lately, wearing them with absolutely anything they will match with. Along the edges are small black details that accent the blue patterns. These shorts look so beach inspired and are simply so me!

You all have seen these shoes before from Tobi.com in a post from a while ago, which I’ll link here for those of you who are new or who haven’t read it yet. These slightly heeled boots have been my new go to when putting together a beautiful, yet casual outfit. They are black suede and lace up the front. These are also peep toed and have a gorgeous cutout at the heel. They are surprisingly well made for an online purchase and totally comfy!

This little gem of a purse is another recent purchase of mine from Nordstrom in the BP (Brass Plum) section. I was desperately in need of a new purse and this one fit the bill amazingly. It came with a detachable strap and a small change purse inside. It has small handles in case you want to remove the longer strap, which I think is really nice. It’s a medium sized bag, so it can hold anything from your makeup, to a wallet, or even a camera in my case! It went SO well with this outfit and is my new go to whenever I need a bag to bring somewhere. The only downside however, there aren’t any smaller compartments built into this bag for phones, keys, lipsticks, etc. I was slightly bummed about that, but it still is an amazing accessory!

Lastly, for makeup, I went with a bronzed and matte look, which i have been really into lately. My bronzer is from Laura Mercier, matte liquid lipstick is in the shade “Stripped” from Anastasia Beverly Hills, brow wiz pencil in the shade “Taupe” also from Anastasia, and my liquid eyeliner is from Stila in the shade dark brown. For eyeshadow, I simply used my Laura Mercier bronzer in the crease and the lightest white shade from the Naked 3 palette on my lids.

This has been my go to look lately and I’ve especially been loving the Anastasia matte liquid lipstick. Even though it is pretty drying, it is extremely long lasting and the color is brilliant. The formula is light upon applying and dries quickly. You can read more about it in my post here.

Hope you all enjoyed this post and let me know what you think of this date night OOTD! ❤
