Merry Christmas everyone!!! Wow, the very last day of Blogmas, I seriously can’t believe it! I honestly wasn’t sure I was going to get through these 25 days of blogging, but I’m SO glad I did. It taught me so much about the blogging process and connected me to so many amazing and kind people here on WordPress. If you’ve stuck with me since December 1st, thank you so much for the constant love and support. And if you’ve just found me today, welcome and thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have the loveliest of days filled with family and happiness. So without further ado, here is my final post of Blogmas 2017!
So before I even started Blogmas, I found a long list of great post ideas that I could grab inspiration from. I reviewed it yesterday and found such an awesome idea for a post! A small collection of my Christmases through the years. I thought it would be really hilarious to show you guys some of my old family photos of me growing up and what my Christmases looked like.
Okay so to start off, here is me as a tiny baby. I must say my mom must have loved the overalls look with the giant bow on my head. It is pretty adorable though, I must say. It looks like I was a pretty good baby when it came to visiting Santa…for other children though, this isn’t always the case (see below).
Update: This is actually my sister in the second photo?!?! Sorry for the mistake but we seriously looked similar as babies!!
My sister may or may not kill me for including this photo. So it was nice knowing you guys. But come on, how could I not include this?? My little sister is pictured on the left and she was seriously not having this Santa visit. I think I was trying to keep it together for the both of us and my parents, lol. I really find this photo hilarious, and a great memory,
maybe not for her though!
Here is a happier photo with my little sis and I. I really love the little gingerbread and candy cane photo shoot they had going on. And can we just mention the matching turtlenecks?? Clearly I was a fashion mogul back in the day.
And here we are a little more grown up. I must have been about 10 or 11 in this photo and she was 7 or 8. Santa clearly has become more of a friend at this point than someone to be terrified of, lol. And again, let me bring up the long white shirt under the V-neck striped top…wow…
Finally, here is an up to date photo of my beautiful sister and I. Some say we look exactly alike and others say we look completely different. What do you think? Christmas is a big deal in our household, so we’re very excited for the day. We just wrapped up (pun intended) exchanging gifts and about to prepare for the whole fam to come over. Look forward to a “What I Got for Christmas” post, I have an amazing surprise that I can’t wait to write about!!
Thank you everyone for being so involved in my Blogmas 2017, it was such an amazing learning experience for me, even though it was challenging at times. It showed me how dedicated I can be to this blog and what the effects of that dedication can be. I hope you all have an amazing day and I’ll talk to you soon!
Merry Christmas! xx Sage
