Hello everyone! I hope those of you on the east coast are keeping warm in the chilly weather you’ve been having. Luckily for us on the west coast, it’s been super sunny and great for traveling. I spend so much of my time in San Diego, which is where I’ve gone to college the last four years. Even so, one of my favorite places in the world to visit is Los Angeles. It’s such an open minded, artistic, and simply unique place that I hope I can live in one day. I’ve seen so much of the city but one place I had never stopped by is the Arts District. It consists of a few streets, so it isn’t that large of an area. However, there are endless walls covered in art and graffiti; it’s honestly one of the coolest area to take some pictures. So here are a few my family took yesterday, I would highly recommend this place if you’re in need of some awesome photos!
The “Ain’t Easy” wall was one of my favorites. I love the look of pastel colors against a black background. Also, the font is so fun and vibrant!
This industrial wall was so cool as well! It’s extremely urban but still light hearted with the bright blue hue. I’m not sure if this wall in particular was meant to be a work of art, but I certainly consider it one!
The explosion of color on this wall was quite special. An entire building was covered in this pattern but unfortunately most of it was guarded by a large fence so we had to resort to this small section. Nevertheless, I love the photo and the colors are honestly to die for.
This particular wall was covered in sketches that very much resembled the works of Picasso or Matisse. Of course, being a hard core art kid, I kind of nerded out. I also really love this photo of my sister against this particular wall.
This white and red graffiti wall very much resembled a flag. I loved the look of it and how the paint is dripping down. It’s so loose and freehanded, which gives such a unique look.
Here are just a few photos taken from around LA and at the Century City mall.
I hope you guys enjoyed this little photo montage. I really love Los Angeles, there’s so many things to see and a new adventure to be had. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you choose to go?? Let me know in the comments below!

thanks! and that’s a bummer, sometimes i have to get super creative if there isn’t any street art around, lol
Loving these pics!! I’ve always wanted to go to somewhere like this just so I can take a load of pics of me posing against the wall and there’s something similar to this in Bordeaux which I went to when I stayed there 😊 xx

Yeah it definitely is!! I agree I got some gorgeous photos from it 😊 xx
New follower, here! I love these pictures! I live in Houston and there’s apparently a ton of color/graffiti walls here (that I’ve seen everyone else taking picture at) and I’ve been wanting to go forever but have yet found the time to. Seeing these beautiful pictures makes me want to go even more now! I’m so not photogenic so I need the confidence you have in these 🙂

How fun! I used to live in SoCal a few years back and I’ve never been to the Arts District! What a shame! These pics are so beautiful! I love the ‘Ain’t Easy’ wall too; I stared at it for a moment and asked myself, “How did they do that?” Great pics, great post.

Love this post! I live relatively close to LA but the traffic always discourages me from visiting often! But after seeing these pics, I just might need to plan a trip soon.
