Hello Spring OOTD!

Hey everyone! Happy spring! The season is finally here and the cold winter months are behind us. Recently, I did a little photo shoot to take some senior pictures. I loved the outfit I wore for the photos, even though it was something out of my comfort zone. So this OOTD will focus on that outfit, and I’ll save the photos of me in a cap and gown for an actual graduation post! Also, a big thanks to Ryan Krantz, who was the photographer for this shoot. All of his information will be linked below. If you are in the Southern California area and need a photographer, I’d definitely recommend him!

While shopping for an outfit, I found myself at Topshop. I love looking around that store, but I rarely find anything whether it’s because something just doesn’t fit right or because of the prices. The day I found this romper was definitely one of my luckiest days! For whatever reason, rompers rarely ever fit me correctly. This one though, fit like a glove and is honestly so comfortable. The mesh material is quite flexible, yet very delicate. I was also shocked by the color! Usually the best colors that work with my skin tone are cooler shades like blue, purple, gray, or straight up black. The decorative aspects of this romper are a bright color, almost red hue. I normally stay away from red, but there’s just something about this piece that I love and it photographed beautifully.

The neckline of this romper is pretty low-cut and the sleeves are a perfect length. They are loose and give quite the feminine touch to this look. I also really enjoy the cut at the bottom, which helps bring in some nice movement when I’d walk. As you can probably tell from some of the photos, my hair was quite curly at the start of the shoot, but it got so windy and cold that all the curls fell out, lol! All of these photos were taken on my university’s campus, which is clearly right next to the water so a bit of wind was expected. It made for a lovely background and is completely my aesthetic. The white columns in some of the photos make up the Greek amphitheater at my school, which is exactly where the graduation ceremony will take place in about a month and a half!

As for accessories, I wore some small heeled shoes. They’re the perfect nude shade that matched well with the romper. They have very simple straps, which has been quite the popular trend lately. I thought they worked well considering the intricate coral patterns. My necklace is a small silver branch from Tiffany’s. This collection of jewelry was actually designed by Picasso’s daughter, which I find absolutely amazing and I kind of got overly excited when I found out.

That’s about it for this OOTD, hope you all enjoyed! It’s been a while since I’ve been able to post one. It was so fun doing this shoot, I think the photos turned out great considering Ryan has an amazing lens and the campus is just gorgeous. Let me know what you think down in the comments below!

P.S. Thank you guys so much for all the love on my Vlog! I didn’t expect so many people to comment on it and ask for another one. I’m planning on filming another since everyone has been requesting it. Okay, talk to you guys soon! xx

  1. Congratulations on graduating! I find it so cool that you guys take graduation photos like these – I think it’s something that should be introduced in England and will definitely be participating come summer-time. The romper looks incredible on you and red really suits you. xx
