Hello, loves! Well, I’ve finally completed my portfolio site! It feels so awesome to have my favorite pieces all in one corner of the Internet. You can find it at sagepetersendesign.com. This was one of the last projects I had to finish up for the portfolio review, which happened yesterday! On the site, you will find eight of the pieces in my physical portfolio, as well as my résumé, travel photography, and a page to contact me. (Please only contact me if you are interested in Graphic Design related projects, as this website is more business related than my blog). I’m sure through the years as I create new works, the site will evolve; but for now, this is what I presented at the actual review.
As you click through each project, you will find a short description, the client, the specific product, and the typeface used. As you continue to scroll, you will find many photos and mockups of the project. All of my pieces are very illustrative, which gives a very personal touch to each of them. They were all assigned to me as class projects, however the very last one is dedicated to this blog! It’s crazy to think how far my blog has come in the last four years. I never really talked about it much, as I was a little afraid of what people would say. Over the last year though, I’ve really embraced it and been completely unafraid of any negativity towards my passion. I’ve been so excited lately, realizing that it’s actually something people are most interested in! Everyone who stopped by my table at the review was interested to know more about this blog and what I do.
I’ll keep this post short and sweet and let you guys take a look at my portfolio site. It was created using WordPress, specifically because I wanted it to be accessible to any person, whether or not you have a design background. I also wanted it to be similar to a blog, in that viewers can leave likes, comment, and interact with me directly. Of course, you can always send in a contact form, but creating a blog format enables instant feedback. Thank you guys again for all the support, and I’ll talk to you soon!
