Springtime With the Sunflowers OOTD!

Hi everyone! Yay, it’s finally Friday again! I know I’ve been posting so many OOTD’s recently, but the weather has been beautiful and I’ve really been upping my spring wardrobe game! I’ve had a slight obsession with sundresses lately. I hadn’t bought some in a while, so it was definitely time to restock my closet with them. Now that spring is upon us, I’ve also been loving all the yellow flowers around my city and planning to visit the super bloom very soon! So without further ado, here is a very springtime inspired outfit of the day!

What inspired this look right off the bat is this amazing beach bag I got from H&M. I don’t normally walk into H&M too often, but I just so happened to pop in the other day with my friend Kaitlynn (you can check out her blog here). We stumbled upon this amazing straw bag and I instantly knew it would be a spring/summer staple of mine. As you all know, I am SUCH a beach girl, and I’m in constant need of beach bags/something to carry my summer essentials. Straw accessories have been so in style this season, and I’m loving the shape of this as well! It’s a large, circular bag with large straps that is perfect for holding your sunscreen, a water bottle, a towel, snacks, sunglasses and anything else you’ll need for a day out in the sun!

First off, can we talk about this dress?? As mentioned before, I’ve been so comfortable in sundresses lately. It’s a one stop, quick outfit while still looking so feminine and put together! This specific dress is a beautiful light blue shade with white dots scattered throughout. The front has a couple ties that can be made into a bow, which is a really nice detail since the cut of the dress is very simple. The back of it is very simple with spaghetti straps, perfect for a nice warm day in south Orange County! You can check out this dress for yourself at Pacsun!

We’ve still been having some windy days down here, which have required some light jackets or sweaters. I’ve been obsessing over my new cropped denim jacket from Melrose in the O.C. It’s been a bit difficult in the past for me to find the perfect denim jacket, but this one has the best fit and goes with (quite literally) any outfit I throw on!

I hope you all enjoyed this simple springtime OOTD! I am such a summer girl, so I’m excited that my favorite season is almost upon us. I’m also such a sucker for sunflowers, and I love the way the photos turned out. Let me now what your favorite part about this OOTD is and what springtime plans you have down in the comments below! Happy Friday and I’ll talk to you all super soon! xx

This outfit is so cute and I love the use of flowers as an accessory! I am headed to Wales in the next few weeks as the first of my summer holidays so I am excited for that. I am going to visit a University friend who I have not seen in a year so it should be fun. What are you most excited for this summer? xx
