The Click Event in L.A.

Hey everyone! Hope you’re all having a fantastic day, night, or whenever you happen to be reading this. Recently I went to a fantastic event in Los Angeles (my favorite city, of course)! It was this past weekend on Saturday and I can genuinely say this was one of my favorite events I’ve attended as a blogger (or influencer if you will, but I still cringe when I hear that word if I’m being honest. But that’s a whole other post…) Anyways, I was actually planning on meeting up with a bunch of my friends from Instagram (turned real friends) in Laguna on the same day. However, one of the girls ended up finding this event from The Click LA and it sounded like a fantastic networking opportunity. It was definitely more of a trek to go to LA as compared to Laguna (which is close to where I live) but in the end, TOTALLY WORTH IT. In this post, I want to share with you everything that happened and how I attended an event like this. Continue reading!

As mentioned previously, one of my friends ended up finding this event through another girl on Instagram who was hosting it. I’ll mention now that this whole fabulous event was put on by @mackenziedudzik for her new events page called @theclick_la. Their slogan is: “A not so cliquey space for creators,” and I can’t tell you how much I love that! Let’s be real, it’s so easy in this Instagram world to find cliques anywhere you look. I’ve been lucky enough to find extremely genuine girls, including Mackenzie who want to build a space of authenticity and true collaboration. The Click is available to anyone as long as you buy a ticket! The tickets are cheap and accessible to anyone, so don’t hesitate to research about their events and even attend so I can see all your beautiful faces at the next one! Long story short, a few of us planned to attend this event together. I met up with Rachelle (give her a follow) and we carpooled to beautiful Los Angeles on the perfect sunny day!

As we pulled up to the event (it was hosted at a post modern house close to Bel Air) I knew this was going to be something special. The house was absolutely gorgeous and all white on the outside. We also saw the most stunning vintage baby blue and pink car parked right in the driveway! Honestly, it was probably one of the coolest cars I’ve ever seen and had the pleasure of shooting with. I did a tour of the entire interior of the house, which was very 70’s inspired on my Instagram stories, so be sure to keep up with me on there! There were also so many vendors there offering bathing suits, drinks, snacks, and various activations for us to take photos with.

You guys know I’m all about details, especially with my design background. From the swan floaties in the pool, to the color scheme, to the pillow on the lounge chairs, Mackenzie really went all out. Since summer is coming to an end, this felt like a great way to end my favorite season of the year! Rachelle and I ended up meeting with a couple of our other friends, Lukela and Natasha (definitely give them a follow as well). We of course had to snap a few pics together with the incredible view. I have to say, sharing this event with friends makes it that much more fun!

Of course, since we were there to shoot and mingle with other creatives, I brought a couple looks to take photos with. This was probably one of the easiest places to take photos in. Both outside with all of the adorable summer decor and even inside with the stunning furniture and 70’s throwbacks. These will most likely be the last photos from my summer content, which makes me really sad but also I’m excited for fall fashion! I will go more into these outfits later, but my flowy front tie top is from one of my favorites, Princess Polly and the ruffle white dress is from Amenah Designs.

I hope you all enjoyed this post about this fabulous event. Definitely check out Mackenzie, The Click, and of course my friends tagged in this post. Thank you for everyone who made this possible and I’m so excited to attend the next one!

Let me know your thoughts about blogger events in the comments below and what else you’d like to see from me? Do you like seeing events I attend as a content creator, outfit posts, beauty advice, what I’m loving in fashion currently? I’d love to know since we’re moving into fall content! Talk to you all soon and have a great start to your week!

This is such a cool idea – I wish there was something similar in London. It looks so picturesque and the weather looks beautiful – the perfect end to summer! xx
