Back to L.A. OOTD

Hey everyone! Long time no see. I hope you all have been doing fantastic and enjoying the winter season. I’ve been up to the snow once this season and honestly, I’m so ready to have summer back! You know I’m such a summer girl. However, I’m still trying to make the most of winter fashion, even though I’m out of my element. I’ve been purchasing lots of coats and sweaters (both pullovers and cardigans because I can’t stop’s becoming a problem). With that being said, I wanted to share one of my latest OOTD’s that I wore to Los Angeles recently. I went up to L.A. with my boyfriend to visit the Getty Museum, Griffith Observatory, the Grove, and more. It never fails to be one of my favorite cities, and I think this is one of my new favorite outfits! Let’s get to it, fam!

So let’s start off strong and talk about blazers for a second. I’ve been seeing so many different kinds of blazers EVERYWHERE online. Long ones, shorter ones, basic colors, and patterns. This seems to be a huge trend this winter. Specifically, I’ve been loving the look of plaid blazers; they’re so sophisticated but I have yet to get my hands on one. Luckily, I was ever so blessed to be sent this light grey long blazer from Showpo. I’ve absolutely loved collaborating with them and this jacket has been a go-to for me now! It comes in a few different colors: beige, black, and of course this light grey. Not to mention, this jacket has some major pockets and I’m just a little obsessed with them.

I paired it with a basic grey tank and some distressed mom jeans. I really love the light and airy color palette of this outfit. It’s the perfect transition from winter to spring (at least for us Californians, I’m praying for those of you actually experiencing the cold months).

L.A. seriously has some of the most stunning views in Southern California. If you’re a content creator (or aspiring content creator) I definitely recommend trying out some spots near or in Griffith Observatory. Not only are the sights amazing, but the Observatory itself is stunning and there’s tons to learn about astronomy there!

Now onto some details! If you follow me on Instagram, you know I’ve been in love with animal print lately. From leopard coats to snakeskin boots, I’ve been wearing it all! Especially these snakeskin ankle boots from Steve Madden! Although I’ve owned this pair for quite some time now, they don’t seem to go out of fashion. They took a little while to break in, but now they’re fairly comfortable to wear for hours. However I wouldn’t recommend wearing these to Griffith Observatory since there’s some steeps hills to walk up from parking…lesson learned.

Hope you all enjoyed this little OOTD from my trip to L.A. Let me know if you’ve been loving blazers and coats as much as I have this season! I also wanted to let you know that I’ve recently joined Like To Know It! If you follow me on Instagram, it will be that much easier to shop my looks from your phone! If you’re a LTK shopper, be sure to follow me for future OOTD inpso! Have a fantastic rest of your week!

I think I would freeze to death if I went out wearing a tank top and a blazer but eh, I choose to live in the UK! Ski jackets are still cute right?!
Honestly in awe of your fashion sense (as always). You always look so put together, please tell me that you always lie around in sweats too!! xx

Sounds like a fantastic day! Great fit as always- I’m also a big neutral lover. You just can’t go wrong with all those dreamy, pared down pieces! This view also- unparalleled. I live in an Australian city called Parramatta. It’s the biggest apart from Sydney City. I basically think of it as a central hub because we’ve got a multitude of facilities- lots of parks, a big shopping centre, plenty of highrises and work spaces and streets filled with restaurants and cafes.
