What’s up, everyone? I am SO excited to announce my newest preset I created specifically for summer 2020! All of you have been so kind about my Lightroom presets and sending me tons of positive feedback. I of course want to continue to create new filters, and I finally have another available! The Victoria preset is perfect for the summer lover, with warm hues and muted blues. This preset mimics the essence of vintage film and gives an aged vibe. I’ve been using this preset on my stories for quite a while, but hadn’t announced that it was actually one of my newest presets! You can purchase the preset through Gumroad, which includes download instructions and some extra tips. Check out some examples of edited photos throughout this post.
I’ve mentioned this a bit on social media and in DM’s with a lot of you, but presets are so fun because it makes the editing process so much quicker. You don’t have to start from scratch when editing a photo, although adjustments will always have to be made. Presets are not meant to be a “one and done” type of process. It definitely moves things along quicker, however every photo has completely different lighting. With that being said, whatever preset you purchase will always have to be adjusted, whether that’s changing the exposure, contrast, saturation, or other filters. You can bet that the Victoria preset will give you a light and airy look while still looking mature and vintage.
Most of the photos I post to Instagram are taken outdoors with natural lighting. This normally works best with presets, but you can also use them indoors. Especially with COVID-19 going on, a lot of content creators have adapted to shooting in their homes, including myself. As you can see from the above photo, the Victoria preset still works well with indoor lighting and achieves the vintage look seamlessly. If you decide to purchase the preset for yourself, be sure to include the hashtag #sageoliviapresets or #sageoliviablog so I can see your stunning creations! There are also two other presets I have available for purchase called Riviera and Trafalgar. All of my presets are name after beaches I grew up going to in Southern California. They all hold a special place in my heart and have their own memories. I’d love to see your edits of those as well!
Hopefully you all enjoyed this little announcement, I honestly am SO happy with how the Victoria preset turned out! As always, feel free to reach out to me on Instagram with any questions, as I’m extremely active on there. Sending everyone lots of love during this hard time, and let’s not allow our creativity to fade! Talk to you guys soon xx
