What’s up, everyone? Recently I’ve been doing a bit of online shopping. Shops and restaurants have started opening up, but I’m still a bit uncomfortable partaking in that. So I’ve continued to shop online! It’s been a dangerous game, I’ll be honest lol. One of my fave shops is definitely Princess Polly. A lot of you know I’ve done a collaboration with them in the past, but I also buy from them frequently. Not only is the delivery SUPER quick, but the returns are also super simple and easy. At times I’ve placed an order and received it the very next day! That’s crazy! I believe they have a distribution center in L.A., which is probably why it doesn’t take long to get to me. So I wanted to share with you guys some of my most recent purchases. Some pieces worked out, while others didn’t but I want to share options regardless!
Roza Mini Dress
First up we have the Roza Mini Dress in Beige. How cute is this little thing? I personally am a big fan of smocked material, especially in the bust or upper stomach region. It’s extremely flattering and also quite flexible. The feminine cut of this dress is so stunning and is simply the perfect summer dress! I love how they styled this dress on the website. One way with a leather jacket (perfect for a nice dinner at night) or with a hat (for the a daytime date at the beach). Also, if you’re interested in purchasing this dress, I’d recommend sizing down.
Bobbie Mini Dress
Next is probably one of my favorites from my recent purchases! The Bobbie Mini Dress in black is the perfect brunch dress. With a low V neckline and a cinched waist, this baby is so flattering and really accentuates your figure. I also really enjoy that there’s cute sleeves as well. I normally don’t gravitate towards polka dots, but I thought there was something so edgy about this specific dress. I love that the stylist paired it with tennis shoes, which makes it so much more casual. Continue reading for some shoe options that would pair perfectly with this look!
My newest purchase from Princess Polly included the Joana Top in beige. I recently found this top from one of my favorite YouTubers, Siena Mirabella. I’ll link her video below so you can check out more of her picks from the same site! As someone who’s loved art her whole life and was an art major, I couldn’t say no to this piece! I love the abstract line art aspect to it. I’ve always been a fan of button down tops with collars, there’s something so professional and “girl boss” about it! I want to wear this top in a very relaxed fashion: off the shoulder and tucked into some high waisted light wash shorts. Of course, paired with some layered gold jewelry (my new obsession for summer 2020).
Tallula Mini Dress
Second to last is the Tallula Mini Dress. Unfortunately, this gorgeous dress didn’t fit quite right so I will be returning it. However I absolutely adore the pastel green color and speckled pattern. I’m also a big fan of square necklines! The sleeves are so feminine and adorable as well. I’d definitely recommend checking out this dress if you’re into the new pastel green trend. Paired with white tennis shoes or white strappy sandals, this dress is definitely a winner!
Superga 2790 Leather White Shoes
Last but certainly not least are the Superga 2790 Leather White shoes. I’ve been eyeing some chunky white tennis shoes like these for quite some time. I originally was searching for some white tennies similar to the Airforce Ones. But these really caught my eye with the platform aspect of them. I adore shoes that give me a bit of height, considering I’m on the shorter side and my boyfriend is 6’4, lol. As mentioned above, I’m so excited to pair these shoes with a feminine sundress. These are also part of my newest purchase, so I’m waiting for them to come in the mail. I’m crossing my fingers that they won’t be too big as they didn’t have my exact size available. These are honestly the perfect casual summer shoe!
Hopefully you all enjoyed my most recent purchases from Princess Polly. They really are a fantastic retailer and provide very high quality products. Let me know your favorite piece from this post and send me anything that catches your eye on the site!
