Let’s Talk about Tie Dye

Hello guys and gals! I’m coming at you with another OOTD. I recently posted a photo on Instagram wearing this dress and I got lots of comments about it! I wanted to dedicate a whole blog post to it, as well as some of the other items in these shots. Not to mention, I have a killer discount code for you guys to Solsana Shoes! Since the virus is still quite bad in the United States, I have gotten into the habit of having picnics since it seems to be a relatively safe activity to do. Not to mention, I have the cutest park with a view of the harbor down the street from my apartment. Let’s get right into the outfit details!

When I first heard about the tie dye trend coming back, I was a bit hesitant. Tie dye tends to become tacky very easily, but the pieces I’ve found in store have pleasantly surprised me! The patterns I’ve seen have actually been so cute, especially in the dress I recently purchased from Swirl Boutique. They have a few locations in Southern California, and luckily one of them is in my hometown! I’d definitely recommend checking them out if you’re looking for on trend clothes that are still mature. The dress in these photos is a shift dress style with a flouncy neckline. I adore the spaghetti straps, which has been a repeated trend this season. Better yet, they’re adjustable! This dress is from Lani the Label and is called the Willow Dress.

Of course, you guys know I’ve been pairing all of my outfits with gold jewelry. The layered gold necklace look has been perfect for the summer! Not to mention, I can’t go without some gold hoops to top off a look. I’ve been getting all of my gold jewelry from Ana Luisa (sustainable jewelry) and Amoriana Jewelry. Check out my recent interview with Amoriana Jewelry creator Ana in a previous blog post: How to Start a Small Business.

Okay how flippin’ adorable are these Lily Heel Rosewater sandals from Solsana Shoes? I honestly have been so into the whole strappy sandal trend lately. They’re perfect for the California summer and I love the daintiness of them. I picked out these light pink shoes from their site, which have a strap across the toes and two around the ankle. I love shoes that have straps around the ankles because you know they’re secure on your feet. I can’t stand walking around in shoes and feeling like they’re going to fly right off. Please tell me I’m not alone in this! The pastel pink color of this pair went so nicely with the soft colors in my tie dye dress.

Solsana has the best selection of shoes, especially for the summer season. I definitely recommend checking out their site and picking out a new pair for yourself. Better yet, be sure to use my code SageP15 for 15% off your order! Be sure to DM me if you ordered a new pair, I can’t wait to see what you choose and how you style them.

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Let me know what you think of it down below in the comments. Be sure to follow my blog through your WordPress account or with your email so you don’t miss a post! Sending love to you all this week and I’ll talk to you very soon. xx

I agree with the tie dye. You usually think the super bright colors and a circle pattern. I have a soft green hoodie that’s the dye and it’s pattern is similar to your dress and it makes it so much easier to wear.

I am definitely not a fan of the tie-dye trend but I would agree that this dress is cute! Loved every single photograph in this photoshoot! xx
