Trader Joe’s Haul: Fall Edition

What’s up, everyone? While I was brainstorming a list of fall content I wanted to create, Trader Joe’s kept popping into my head. Not only because it’s the main grocery store I shop at (and I’m always thinking about food), but also because their fall items are quite literally TOP NOTCH every year! It seems this year especially, they’ve gone full force when it comes to their season products. I LIVE for a good pumpkin flavored anything during these months and I’m that sucker to buy everything! I thought for this post I’d make a list for you guys of my favorite fall items from Trader Joe’s. In case you’re making a trip there sometime soon, be sure to have this post on hand so you don’t miss out on any of the best new items! I’ll also be linking any items I can from the Trader Joe’s website, which I recently just discovered. Not to mention, they have some excellent recipe ideas for you to try on their site! Let’s jump in, shall we?

Pumpkin Pancake & Waffle Mixes

On my Instagram story recently, I showed you some of my recent purchases from Trader Joe’s and the Pumpkin Pancake mix is ALWAYS at the top of my list. I’ve been purchasing this product every year for the past few years now and I can’t seem to get enough of it. Not only does this product create jaw droppingly delicious pancakes, but it also comes in a gluten free version for anybody who prefers that! We love an inclusive company! To be honest, I think I actually prefer the gluten free version. This mix is made with real pumpkins and those delicious seasonal spices you can’t get enough of! Personally, I have a special recipe that I like to use this pancake mix for: Pumpkin Pancake Apple Rings! Be sure to click on my Pumpkin Pancake Apple rings post to learn exactly how to make this recipe. I actually wrote it back in 2016, which seems like a whole lifetime ago! They’re honestly delicious and the perfect fall snack for kids especially!

Pumpkin Bread & Muffin Mix

Pumpkin Bar recipe using the Pumpkin Bread Mix

We all know baking bread was a big trend back when we were all quarantined for the summer. BUT have you tried Pumpkin Bread yet? Girl, you gotta get on it! Nothing is more comforting that baking bread yourself, especially with this fun fall twist! Simply add eggs, oil, and water to this mix and you’ve got yourself a perfect loaf. One of my favorite recipes my mom would make during the fall is chocolate chip pumpkin muffins, and they are simply heavenly! I imagine baking this pumpkin bread and eating a slice with a pumpkin spice latte while snuggled up on the couch during a rainy day. Does that not sound like pure bliss?? Be sure to click the link above to read how the Trader Joe’s chefs make their delicious Pumpkin Bars with this bread mix.

Pumpkin Rolls with Pumpkin Spice Icing

Okay, to be honest with you guys I haven’t seen this product at my Trader Joe’s yet. But you better believe I’ll be searching high and low for it next time! If you don’t know, I have an incredibly intense sweet tooth which gives me an insane pastry addiction (i.e. donuts and cinnamon rolls). Some of my favorite mornings as a kid was waking up to the smell of cinnamon rolls coming right out of the oven. Trader Joe’s took it a step further by offering pumpkin cinnamon rolls with pumpkin spice icing!!! I’m honestly not sure how I’ve gone every year without trying these, but I’m determined to test them out this year. I’m sure I won’t be disappointed.

Fall Zucchette Pasta

Having a pumpkin themed dinner during this lovely October? Be sure to include the Zucchette pasta from Trader Joe’s! I recently purchased this simply because I loved that the pasta was shaped like mini pumpkins. The pasta is actually a beautiful orange color because the recipe includes paprika. Not to mention, this is a great dupe for normal pasta if you’re looking for something a bit healthier. Be sure to also pick up the Autumnal Harvest Creamy Pasta Sauce to accompany your adorable pumpkin shaped pasta! The two are definitely a match made in heaven and bound to have any guest swooning over your dish.

Pumpkin Spice Pretzel Slims

If you guys are huge snackers like me, this will be a go-to for you! A lot of you might be familiar with the flat pretzels that offered at various grocery stores. They’re some of my favorite snacks, especially when dipped in hummus or guacamole. For fall however, Trader Joe’s is offering those same pretzel slims in pumpkin spice form! Groundbreaking! And I don’t mean that sarcastically, lol. This is another product that I haven’t tried personally myself, but I am looking forward to purchasing a bag this season. According to the Trader Joe’s website, the pretzel slims are “[…]covered in a sweet, pumpkin spice-infused yogurt coating. Then, we dot them with our very own Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spiced Pumpkin Seeds and even more spices and sweets, […]” Does that not sound utterly delicious? If I was having a Halloween party this year, (which of course I’m not because COVID) these pretzels would no doubt be in attendance!

Was there any special fall items that I missed? Let me know down in the comments what your favorite seasonal item from Trader Joe’s is. Or, if you live in a place that doesn’t offer this store, let me know you favorite fall snack or beverage that you can’t go without! Hope you enjoyed this autumnal post, and I’ll talk to you all very soon! xx
